Onnu appoint Food Chain Enterprises as consulting partner for Green Hubs
We are pleased to announce that we have engaged FCE to assist us with the design and implementation of our first Green Hubs. The Green Hubs will process poultry litter locally to the Wye Valley Catchment Area and reduce the ecological damage to the River Wye caused by runoff.
FCE have many years' experience in the poultry industry in the UK and further afield, with specialisms in sustainability, biosecurity and regulatory compliance. They are ideal partners to work with us on both the design of our Green Hub sites, and the processes around safe and efficient transport, storage and treatment of poultry litter.
Giles Welch, Onnu’s CEO said “while we are experts in pyrolysis, as we design and commission our sites, there is no substitute for the years of on-the-ground poultry industry knowledge which FCE can offer us. Working together will ensure we develop the very best solution for producers, regulators and residents alike.”
