As an additional layer on top of the PLC running CarboFlow, Biosource aggregates real-time machine data into customizable dashboards, enabling live monitoring, run comparison, and historical performance analysis across different feedstocks and operating conditions. Built on an API-friendly architecture, BioSource integrates seamlessly with external systems and carbon registries, while providing a robust foundation for Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) for carbon audits. By combining real-time analytics with AI-driven insights, it not only visualizes performance but also delivers optimization recommendations to improve efficiency, consistency, and carbon accountability.

Real time data capture

CarboFlow generates a vast amount of data every minute. This includes operational data like currents and motor speeds as well as sensor readings like temperatures, pressure and oxygen. BioSource continuously captures this data from the pyrolysis system every 10 seconds as a time-series data. This ensures a complete, real-time digital representation of machine behaviour under all operating conditions.

Dynamic dashboards

The platform provides fully customizable dashboards that allow users to visualize, analyze, and compare data across every pyrolysis run. Operators and engineers can monitor live operations in real time, review historical performance, and benchmark different runs based on feedstock type, operating conditions, and output quality. This enables deeper insight into process behaviour, helping identify inefficiencies, optimize configurations, and improve consistency across batches over time.

AI-driven process optimization

BioSource integrates AI-driven analytics to interpret real-time and historical machine data, transforming it into actionable operational intelligence. The system provides live optimization suggestions during runs, helping operators adjust key parameters to improve yield, stability, and energy efficiency.
