Who is Isometric?
Isometric is a leading carbon removal registry and certification platform. Its Biochar Protocol is widely regarded as one of the most rigorous on the market, and it is the only protocol that lets suppliers issue biochar certificates with up to 1,000-year durability. Through its Certify platform, Isometric issues certificates monthly, so project developers can turn verified carbon removal into revenue in weeks rather than years.
What does pyrolyzer pre-approval mean for CarboFlow buyers?
Up until recently, every installed pyrolysis unit had to be validated individually, site by site. For developers scaling across several sites or deploying many units, this added months of repeated work before a project could issue credits.
Under Isometric’s pre-approval scheme, Onnu has completed reactor validation for CarboFlow upfront, to the same standards Isometric applies to every project. Developers using CarboFlow can now select it as a pre-approved model in Isometric Certify and add reactors to new or existing projects without repeating the validation process. That means faster validation, faster project expansion and faster credit issuance, which all shorten the time to first revenue, improve project ROI and cashflow.
The approval also gives carbon buyers and project developers independent confirmation that CarboFlow meets one of the most demanding standards in carbon removal.
