Working with us
Whether you're purchasing a single CarboFlow unit, or opting for a a whole plant solution, our aim is to get your project profitable as quickly and reliably as possible.

Taking your project from concept to carbon
We understand that, for many of our customers, this will be the first time you will be implementing pyrolysis technology for your organization. This is why our involvement doesn't stop when we have delivered the physical machine and equipment.
Having designed the plant around your specified feedstock and individual site, we will install and commission CarboFlow to be working to specification. Additionally, we offer an ongoing service agreement whereby all maintenance, spares and operator support is covered by Onnu.

Working together
Onnu's beginnings were in pyrolysis project development, before transitioning into technology providers. Because of this, we know the steps needed to get your project from the concept stage, all the way through to day-to-day operation.
How much does a pyrolysis plant cost?
'How much does a pyrolysis plant cost?' and 'How much can my pyrolysis plant make?' aren't easy questions to answer - there are so many different factors involved in a fully calculated cost.
We're big believers in transparency though - pyrolysis carbon removal won't scale if it's a closely guarded secret. Get in touch to find out more about pricing and site requirements.

What makes a good pyrolysis project?
There are some key characteristics we look for when analyzing the feasibility of a project. In order to deliver the commercial and environmental outcomes and justify an investment in pyrolysis, the following are crucial:
- Feedstock supply - A secure feedstock supply is the most important requirement, and can be a major operational cost. Good projects either generate it themselves or have access to it at below market rate.
- Feedstock type - Different feedstocks deliver different outcomes so it is important to understand its composition at an early stage.
- Site - Ideally with minimal feedstock transportation, enough room for truck access and in an existing industrial or agricultural zone to help with planning and permitting.
- Biochar plan - Whether selling it or using it yourself, it is important to know what you will be doing with the biochar produced.
- Onsite energy uses - Not always crucial but a use of excess heat or electricity on the site can increase the returns delivered by the project.
